Dr Mark Kohout is a fully trained plastic surgeon with 25 years of experience and extensive training from global leaders in the United States, where he received specialty training at Harvard University, and Great Britain where he earned fellowships from two prestigious surgical colleges. Meanwhile, his advanced microsurgical research led to a Master of Surgery degree from Melbourne University. Dr Kohout is a proud member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) since 1996. He’s appeared on a number of documentaries and plastic surgery television shows, and is a regular contributor to Cosmetic Surgery Magazine where he’s recognised as an authority on a range of surgical topics. He’s also lectured at venues all over the world and written a number of scientific research papers in the field of plastic surgery.
